Who can apply for the Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?
The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards are open to individuals and companies from around the world with no limits to nationality, occupation, or level of experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

In 2021, we are inviting jewellery designers, jewellery companies, and jewellery writers to apply with:
• A finished piece
• A 3D Project
• An article
What are the registration categories for The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?
Entries are open in 7 categories:

5 categories for a finished piece:

  • True Innovation Award - US$20,000 prize
An original piece of jewellery that demonstrates innovative use of new materials, new techniques, material combinations or technical challenge solutions. Wonder in jewel form.

  • Masterpiece Design Award - US$20,000 prize
An original piece of jewellery that brings exceptional aesthetic design to life with excellent execution. Beauty in jewel form.

  • Extraordinary High Jewellery - US$20,000 prize
An exceptional high jewellery piece that features rare and unique gemstones of finest quality or combinations of perfectly matched rare gems in distinctive design, exquisitely executed. Grandeur in jewel form.

  • Royal Indian Bride Award - US$20,000 prize
An exceptional piece or suite of jewellery for the grand appearance of an Indian bride on the wedding. Splendour in jewel form.

  • Wind of Change Award - US$9,000 prize
A conceptual piece of jewellery that captures a cultural moment, the mood of today, a thought or a particular aesthetic. Ideas in jewel form.


A category for 3D jewellery design

  • Tomorrow's Masterpiece – US$6,000 prize
An original 3D digital design of a piece of jewellery. The jewellery piece does not need to be produced to qualify for entry.

A category for jewellery writing

  • Excellence in Jewellery Writing - US$5,000 prize
An original piece of writing about jewellery that showcases a masterful use of words, a fascinating story or groundbreaking research. The article must have been published in print or online and currently available to read online.

What are the requirements for entry into The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?

Entry for The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards ends on September 30, 2021.
Can I submit more than one entry to The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?
Yes. You can submit as many works as you like. There is no per-person limit on the number of entries you can submit to the Jewellery Masterpiece Awards. Each entry requires filling out a new registration form and payment of the administration fee (except for Excellence in Jewellery Writing category, for which there is a limit of one entry per author, and it is free of charge).
What is the cost of entering The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?
The amount of the administration fee depends on the category of the award for which you apply and the prize value:

The administration fee is US$1,500 to apply for:

– True Innovation Award - US$20,000 prize;
– Masterpiece Design Award - US$20,000 prize;
– Extraordinary High Jewellery - US$20,000 prize;
– Royal Indian Bride Award - US$20,000 prize;

The Administration fee is US$450 to apply for:

– Wind of Change Award - US$9,000 prize;

The Administration fee is US$300 to apply for:

– Tomorrow's Masterpiece Award - US$6,000 prize;

There is no charge to enter Excellence in Jewellery Writing category

– Excellence in Jewellery Writing - US$5,000 prize;
Can I participate with an entry that has previously won awards?
Yes. There is no time limit on when the entry was created or if it previously won any awards.
Is it important when the piece was created?
No. There is no time limit on when the entry was created or if it previously won any awards.
I don't have official accreditation as a journalist. Can I apply with an article?
Yes. I must be an original piece of writing about jewellery that showcases a masterful use of words, a fascinating story or groundbreaking research.
The article must have been published in print or online and currently available to read online. We accept articles written in English and English translations.
Are there any themes that my entry should follow?
There are no themes that your entry needs to follow. Your entry must be original and one-of-a-kind. The choice of which piece to submit is totally up to you.

What are "Special Prizes" from judges mean?
Each judge who provides a special prize chooses the winner/winners from all entries based on their own criteria and don't need approval from the rest of jury.

Are there any countries that are excluded from the Jewellery Masterpiece Awards?
No. The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards is open to individuals and companies from around the world, with no limits in regard to nationality, occupation, or level of experience.
