'Jewelry Masterpiece Awards' To Present $100,000 To Jewelry Designers And Journalists
March 4, 2021
Tatyana Pfaifer, the founder of The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards
Entries are now being accepted for the inaugural Jewellery Masterpiece Awards, which honors excellence and artistry in the jewelry world. Jewelry companies, artists, designers and writers are all invited to participate in the one-of-a-kind awards program.

The Jewelry Masterpiece Awards is one of the few truly international awards programs and most likely the only one offering significant cash prizes. It will offer $100,000 in prize money to winners in seven categories. It is believed to be the largest-ever prize pool for any jewelry awards program. In addition, there will be at least eight special prizes awarded by a world class jury of the renowned jewelry industry specialists. (Full disclosure: I am one of the judges).

The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards is founded by Tatyana Pfaifer, a pre-eminent voice in the jewelry world and creator of Jewellery_Masterpiece, an Instagram platform with more than 332,000 followers. Pfaifer is widely recognized for spreading the culture of jewelry arts.

Pfaifer said that she founded the competition to provide more visibility and more opportunities for jewelry artists and designers.

"To come across great talent is a rare and extraordinary gift. I have been lucky to see original, honest, 'true-to-who-you-really-are' works of art. When I saw that kind of art, I wanted the whole world to also see and appreciate it," Pfaifer said. "The Jewellery Masterpiece Awards were born out of my respect for jewelry as art, the desire to inspire the enthusiasm of everyone involved in the jewelry world, to give deserved recognition to outstanding jewelry artists, leading jewelry companies, skilled jewelry writers, art historians, the best galleries, ateliers, the best jewelry schools, and leading gem dealers."
